No. I am not dead. But my connection to the internet at home is. The Man is supposed to come by and fix it tomorrow. We’ll see. I have been busy. Super busy. My vacation starts in a week. Everything is piling up at once. I think that I might not make it. Then I laugh. Of course I will make it. Everything else won’t.

I heard some white trash say “Hell, yeah!” yesterday. Hell, yeah! That is all I have to say too. Thank you white trash for putting it so succinctly.

Where did today go? It seems like I just woke up. Although I do not know where the time went, I can tell you what I did. I wrote for a couple of hours. I got the paper. I did some news clips for the show. I edited the book that I am working on for many hours. I went to band practice. Now, I am watching television. Boy, does that sound like fun. I am nine more writing days (I don’t write on Mondays) and 18,000 words away from finishing this book I am working on. It is called “Abduction”. It is about obsession, sex, voyeurism, pornography, rape and murder. It is written in an experimental style that rips off both James Ellroy and Hubert Selby Jr. I am working on writing graphic sex scenes – real graphic material – rape and murder – in a non graphic fashion. Does that make sense? The story is about the inner working behind these violent acts – not the acts themselves. I am trying to write “American Psycho” or “Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer” without getting so vivid or disgusting. I don’t know. It seemed like a good idea when I started. Now, I am trying to finish a first draft – a readable from start to finish first draft - by April 10th – the last day of work before my vacation. All of the writing and all of that band practice has made my arms, wrists and hands very sore and tired. Same with my back. The BLOGGING is not helping.
