The last time I took a break from BLOGGING, it was because I fainted at the thought of watching Keelhaul. This time, the computer did the fainting for me. I must have mentioned Keelhaul in front of it because this computer is busted. I have been fooling around for a week trying to figure out what in the hell is wrong with it. In order to fix the computer, you need to think like a computer. So far, no luck. I think like and abacus. Although I am figuring out, slowly, what the exact sequence of the breaking down process is, which is nice.
I have been working mad overtime. Do you want to talk about things that blow? How about work? I have been putting in twelve hour days all week – shuffling paper back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Wow. It truly sucketh. It blows.
I have been thinking a lot about the East Coast vs. West Coast rap wars. Can’t we all just get along? I was watching the Notorious B.I.G. VH1 thing. The most poignant scene was at the rap award show when the East Coast audience was booing Snoop Doggy Dogg.
“What? The East Coast ain’t got no love for Snoop Dogg? The East Coast ain’t got no love for Dr. Dre? Yeah. I know this is East Coast but you ain’t got no love for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg?” questioned an impassioned Snoop Doggy Dogg with a puzzled look on his face. He looked like he was trying to figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop. He was that confused. And so am I. East Coast. West Coast. North Coast. It doesn’t matter. We are all dubious ruffians in the eyes of God.
I am sure the computer is going to break down if I try to save this document. I love having so much faith in techonology.
